About Matt
Matt Rogers has mentored more than 4,000 student-athletes and families through the college recruiting process. A former college coach and athletics administrator, he now works as a College Recruiting Adviser and University Athletics Consultant, training coaches and athletic directors on recruiting, team-building, and program development.
Matt is the 5-star reviewed author of Significant Recruiting: The Playbook for Prospective College Athletes, a step-by-step guide that helps athletes maximize exposure to college coaches nationwide. He has also published the companion Recruit’s Journal Series, practical workbooks designed to guide families through every stage of the recruiting journey.
Currently, he is consulting with a community college on the West Coast to build its first-ever athletics department and competitive sports program. Matt also hosts the weekly podcasts Significant Coaching and Significant Recruiting with Matt Rogers, and writes The Blog of Significance, weekly essays for coaches, parents, and athletes.
