  1. They publicly complain about their child’s coaches and teachers
  2. They want their child to compete in college more than their child 
  3. They spend more time criticizing their child after games than supporting their child’s joy of competing and being a good teammate
  4. Whenever they have a concern with their child’s coaches and teachers, they try and fix it instead of having their child work through it with the coach or teacher
  5. They believe that money invested into clubs, camps, and trainers equals recruitment results
  6. They don’t model a healthy lifestyle or respectful attitude
